Personal Background
As a Minnesota native and a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Teresa knows and understands the elements that comprise our unique Twin Cities lifestyle. She is also very familiar with the local neighborhoods and communites surrounding the Twin Cities.
Family is very important to Teresa. Shw comes from a family of nine, who most live in the surrounding suburbs of the Twin Cities. She is married to Steven Sjoquist who grew up in Plymouth and attending Wayzata school district. They have 3 daughters, Cecelia, Christina and Catherine and reside in Maple Grove since 1993. Teresa finds time to volunteer at her children's school (Basswood Elem. and Maple Grove Jr. High) and teach Sunday school at Lord of Life in Maple Grove. Teresa enjoys spending most of her free time with family and friends.
